Being cooped up in your home can certainly make you go a little ‘crazy’, which may lead to overeating.
However, by implementing these 5 simple rules into your life you can stay on track and prevent weight-gain during this time at home!
Rule 1: Don’t have any ‘junkfood’ in your house.
This one is easy because you control what you have available to eat. Instead of buying junkfood, have fruits, yogurt, nuts, and other healthy snacks available to munch on.
Rule 2: Cook your own food.
It’s easy to order take-out every day, but it’s not always the best for you (the exception is Rule Number 3 below). Spend time cooking your food so you know what’s in it and how to make it healthy.
Rule 3: If you do order “take-out”, only order healthy options.
Fortunately we live in a time where there are many healthy food delivery services and restaurants available. If you do order “take-out”, stay away from the typical pizza, pasta, and Chinese and go for healthier, balanced options.
Rule 4: Workout from home.
Staying in all day long can make you absolutely crazy, but moving around a bit and working up a good sweat is a great way to burn off some extra energy and curb hunger.
Rule 5: Stay productive.
Aside from working out, find something to keep you occupied that you enjoy. Maybe it’s writing, reading, drawing, learning about a new topic, etc. This will keep your mind off food while helping you grow as a person!
By following these 5 simple rules, you’re guaranteed to stay on track with your weight-loss and health goals!
