Potatoes Please!



Potatoes seem to have gotten a bad rap.


Contrary to what most people seem to think, there are many health benefits to eating potatoes.


They contain important types of nutrients - especially when the skin is left on - such as potassium, vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants.


They are made up mostly of carbohydrates, but can be particularly filling which may help with weight loss.


However, potatoes in the form of French fries and potato chips should be limited or avoided due to their typically high fat and sodium content.


We recommend eating potatoes as part of healthy diet in addition to many other types of fruits and vegetables!
